Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA)

The National Payment System (AZIPS, LVPCSS, and IPS) processed 145.2 million transactions totalling AZN 840.9 billion in 2025, which is 6.5 times the country’s GDP. The Government Payments Portal (GPP) processed 114.4 million transactions worth AZN 8.6 billion, representing a 6.6% increase in transaction volume and a 9.3% increase in cashless value compared to last year. With wider coverage, the Instant Payments System (IPS) saw its transaction volume grow 12.5 times to 10 million and its value rise by 90.1% to AZN2.6 billion.
