The 2023 World Banknote Summit (WBS) takes place 20-22 February in Antwerp.

The wide ranging programme includes the National Bank of Poland and the National Bank of Ukraine talking about cash management following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The user perspective of cash will be covered by speakers from the Bundesbank, the European Central Bank and the supermarket, Colruyt Group.

The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India will speak on their sustainability work and Reconnaissance International will give an overview of sustainability activity across the cash cycle. The Future of Cash will be debated in a discussion including the Bank of England, the European Savings and Retail Banking Group, Cash Essentials and Prof. Franz Seitz.

Different production-related aspects will be discussed by Parvis Systems and Seprinto & Partners. There is also a Printer Forum which provides a platform for printing experts from state print works (SPW) to meet and discuss production-related topics in a private environment. The forum is only open to registered representatives of state print works and partners of the WBS.
