CBDC Conference Update

The Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) conference has now moved wholly online on 4-6 October 2021. Registration is now open.

CBDC is a much-discussed topic and several central banks have launched pilot projects or implemented a CBDC. There is a lot of learning going on and CBDCs represent a major change for all.

Given this complexity and rate of development, this conference is an opportunity to understand, learn and exchange ideas. The CBDC Conference was created and designed to meet these requirements.

The conference will consider CBDCs from different viewpoints: that of central banks, retail banks, the law, technology and, finally, policymakers. There are over 40 confirmed speakers and more will follow in the coming weeks.
