Call for Papers for New Technical ‘Super’ Event

The Optical Document Security and Digital Document Security conferences have now been combined into one ‘super-conference’, Optical & Digital Document Security (ODDS).

Described as ‘THE technical conference for physical, digital and virtual document security’, it takes place in Vienna 17-19 January 2022.

ODDS will be the platform to bring together the 1,000-year experience of the banknote and ID document worlds with the fast-moving fields of digital financial transactions, virtual ID and digital identity verification. The programme will be directed at R&D and technology specialists involved in the digital transaction, identity and authentication communities and specifiers, designers, producers and issuers of secure documents.

The call for papers offers a glimpse of the final agenda. Some of the topics are futuristic, such as optical security at the point-of-sale or smartphones for personal identity and payments and what to do without one, while others consider new optical technologies and materials or issues such as serialisation, coding and unique identifiers.
